Are you ready for spring? This month is lighter and brighter and ready for you to fly.
It is said: “You cannot plough a field by turning it over in your mind. To begin, begin” and “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” These words can spring you into the future, just like the clocks going forwards, you can leap into a new career opportunity or change your life. You’ve just got get up and do the hard work. If you’re looking for a change then check out the job opportunities on Facebook page.
In early March we celebrated International Women’s Day and I’m proud to say our office is dominated by strong, successful women ‘“Some women choose to follow men, and some choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore.” — Lady Gaga.
Dancing to the Gaga tune, our lead recruiter, Hannah F, and our recruitment consultant Lauren E, both celebrated their birthdays this month in style. Hosting a Sex in the City themed bash, the girls hit the cocktails, karaoke and zoomed to the club in a limo. Absolutely living your best life ladies, a very happy birthday to you both.
If that wasn’t enough excitement in the Resilient Recruitment office, our very own Charlotte has stepped up from the admin team to the recruitment team to join Hannah and Lauren in the St Helens district. We wish her the best of luck in her new role and can’t wait to see what she achieves as she reaches for the stars.
Talking about luck, we celebrated St Patricks Day with our Irish friends around the country this month too. We are always on hand to help people follow the rainbow of success and find their pot of gold. Working in partnership with our clients we have selected our employee of the month for March as Shane Pearson, our recycling operative from St Helens. Shane has worked with us since November 2020 and has progressed through his job roles due to his good attitude. His current placement describes him as ‘A good lad, not shy of hard work and someone who just cracks on.’ He’s such an asset to Resilient Recruitment and 100% deserves this award. So, thanks Shane for having such a fantastic work ethic and sticking with and growing with Resilient as we’ve expanded. Please enjoy your certificate and £50 voucher.
Internally we say thanks to our dancing Queen, Lauren, who came onto the team without any recruitment experience but has grown and blossomed in leaps and bounds and is now an integral part of the team. She stays late and works weekends, when necessary, without complaint and has a great rapport with our workers. There’s never a day goes by when she’s not singing tunes and flurrying around the office like Mary Poppins, lifting spirits and making everyone belly laugh. A truly deserved award for you Lauren, well done.
However, all good things must come to an end and as last month we said goodbye to Eve, this month we say goodbye to Katie, our business development manager, who is moving to Derby to start her new country life with horses, hounds and her husband to be. We wish you all the best, leisurely enjoying the outdoors and a simpler life. You’ll be greatly missed here at Resilient Recruitment but we know it’s the right thing for you to move on.
Take Care.. Until next time from Resilient Recruitment xx
